Down to the wire
Hi
It sounds crazy to me but the house will be done by Thanksgiving. The shop interior will not be done just yet. This has been the longest 14 months of hard work I have ever had. Between building the house, shop and still running Alpine Luddites I am fairly intact, aside from a horrible cold.
I will be in the shop for a couple days, then not back till after Thanksgiving.
After that I am really looking forward to working back at AL full time. Everyone has been patient with the long delays and time to turn back to full production. I plan on staying here in Saint Johnsbury for a couple more months to help get caught up, and hold off another delay with needing to move the shop again. Please feel free to stop by.
Production:
we took a short break from building the seat bag batch but plan to have these done after Thanksgiving. some are done but not all.
I will be building the Messenger Bags next, along with crampon cases and Ice screw bags being sewn by Anna & Ruth Ann.
we have a new chalk bag coming out, possibly in time for the solstice. I had been getting requests for chalk bags for years and they are a perfect project for Anna. In fact, she's been designing it.
Custom packs are still my main focus and have 3 in progress.
Classes:
I have already held a few private classes here in Saint J, and have one in December and I think January (right ann?). With the house done the class schedule is back open.
I am very excited for the UK class in May, which is fully sold out. I am thinking of skipping the Bespoke Bicycle show and just ride from Fort William ,Scotland, to Llanberis ahead of the class.
Cheers,
JC

I can probably bring these 30 Fanny packs up in a few weeks.
